Project Description
A medium gray three layer epoxy floor was installed in this airport hangar.
The process began with removal of the existing coating, which was peeling, as well as removal of existing joint filler. The floor was then diamond ground to level it and remove the existing coating. After that it was steel shotblasted in order to clean and give it the proper profile for best adhesion. The joints were filled with new material and a three layer system was applied. This consisted of two layers of epoxy coating followed by a top coat of satin polyurethane. A yellow safety line was added later to highlight the border around the area.
